| I started writing books in 1986.
1986 - "Jaguar V12 Race Cars - Bred to Win", co-written with technical writer Ian Bamsey (ISBN 9780850456806)
1986 - "Brock & Moffatt on the road to Spa", credited to editor Barry Naismith but largely written by me (ISBN 9780908081981)
1989 - "Dakar Run", a book for children which was never published because of takeovers in the publishing world
1989 - "The World Atlas of Motor Racing" (ISBN 0792450175), which sold 40,000 copies.
Having earned very little despite money from books, despite a very successful publication, I gave up books for 18 years, during which time I researched the story of what would become the next book.
2007 - "The Grand Prix Saboteurs" (ISBN 9780955486807). I was named Author of the Year by the Guild of Motor Writers. The book is currently being made into a film, to be directed by Eric Stoltz and will star France's Samuel Le Bihan. The film is being produced by a company called Racing Patriots and is expected to be released in 2013.
2010 - "The Man who Caught Crippen" (ISBN 9780955486814). My first non-racing book.
I am currently working on three different projects: one a biography of a well known motorsport figure; one related to the automotive industry; and the third a story of a non-racing related SOE Agent in World War II.
